REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At ConsultMicrobio (www.consultmicrobio.in), we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds or replacements may be requested for physical products (e.g., microbiology kits, lab supplies) and digital services (e.g., consultation reports, test results). Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds or replacements may be granted under the following circumstances:

1.1. Physical Products

  • Damaged or Defective Products: If a product is delivered damaged, defective, or not as described, you may request a refund or replacement.

  • Incorrect Product: If you receive a product different from what was ordered.

  • Non-Delivery: If the product fails to be delivered to your address

1.2. Digital Services or Deliverables

  • Incorrect or Incomplete Deliverables: If a consultation report, test result, or digital file contains errors or is incomplete due to our oversight.

  • Non-Delivery: If a digital deliverable is not sent to the provided email or download link due to an error on our part.

1.3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after a product is dispatched or a service is completed.

  • An Incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided by the customer.

  • Failure to access digital deliverables due to incorrect email addresses or technical issues on the customer’s end (e.g., spam filters).

  • Perishable or custom-made products (e.g., specialized microbiology samples or custom reports), unless defective or incorrect.

  • Services already rendered, such as completed consultations, unless the service was not provided as agreed.

    Note: We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion

2. Refund Request Process

2.1. Timeframe for Requests

  • Physical Products: Notify us within 48 hours of delivery for damaged, defective, or incorrect products. For non-delivery, contact us within 7 days after the estimated delivery date (one the tracking has been shared).

  • Digital Services: Notify us within 7 days of receiving the deliverable (or expected delivery date for non-delivery).

2.2. How to Request a Refund

  • Contact us at info@consultmicrobio.in with:

    • Order number and date of purchase.

    • Description of the issue (e.g., damaged product, incorrect report).

    • Supporting evidence, such as photos of damaged products or screenshots of errors in digital deliverables.

  • For physical products, you may be required to return the item in its original condition and packaging (see Section 3).

2.3. Review Process

  • Once the product has reached our warehouse, we will review your request within 3–5 business days and notify you of the outcome via email.

  • Approved refunds or replacements will be processed within 15 days from the communicated email of refund approval and amount, subject to the conditions below.

3. Return of Physical Products

  • Return Shipping: If a return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product. Return shipping costs will be covered by ConsultMicrobio (only when the fault belongs to Consult MicroBio)for defective, damaged, or incorrect items. For other cases refund is not acceptable.

  • Condition of Returned Items: Products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as delivered (except for defects or damage).

4. Refund Processing

  • Physical Products: Refunds will be issued after we receive and inspect the returned item, typically by 15 business days.

  • Digital Services: Refunds or corrections for approved requests will be processed by 15 business days.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (e.g., credit/debit card, UPI, bank transfer). If the original method is unavailable, we may offer an alternative (e.g., store credit).

  • Non-Refundable Charges: Shipping fees, taxes, or handling charges are non-refundable unless the issue is due to our error.

5. Replacements

  • For eligible cases (e.g., damaged or incorrect products), we offer a replacement instead of a refund, subject to availability.

  • Replacement products will be shipped within 10-15 business days of approval, with no additional shipping cost to the customer.

  • For digital deliverables, we will provide corrected or re-delivered files at no extra cost.

6. Cancellations Before Dispatch or Processing

  • Once the order has been placed, it will not be refunded. Thus, we will request our customers to please place the order accordingly.

  • For digital services or consultations, cancellations are allowed before the service is initiated (e.g., before a consultation session or report generation). Once processing begins, refunds are subject to Section 1.3

7. Exceptions

  • Custom Orders: Custom-made products or services are non-refundable

  • Perishable Goods: Items such as biological samples or time-sensitive materials are non-refundable unless delivered

  • Promotional Offers: Products or services purchased under special promotions may have specific refund terms, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.

8. Disputes
